LENEL CERTIFICATION
CIAS ELETTRONICA Receives Lenel Factory Certification
under the Lenel® OpenAccess Alliance Program
CIAS’ IB-SYSTEM-IP interfaces with Lenel’s OnGuard® access control security system
CIAS announced that it has received Lenel factory certification and joined the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP). CIAS’ IB-System IP data collection system, interfaces with the OnGuard® access control system and grants the complete management of up to 1280 different anti-intrusion sensors with max delay of 500 ms. This PC-based solution offers complete support in terms of set up, maintenance and general management of the complete perimeter protection system via an Ethernet connection. It provides up to 10 different output groups, each one able to communicate with 5 different protocols, giving the operator the possibility to acquire and integrate both CIAS’ protocol and many alternative communication protocols simultaneously.
As explained by Romano Manzoli, CIAS R&D Director:
“CIAS has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard. IB-System IP end-users will now be able to receive information from field devices and manage it in one unique platform,” said John Marchioli, OAAP product management, Lenel. “We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel Open Access Alliance Program.”
“Imagine a direct communication on digital data with no need of any further physical interfaces or media converters. It’s a full IP turnkey solution. Our IB-System IP collects the status (Alarm, Tamper, Fault, NO Answer) of each anti-intrusion device on field by automatic polling and makes them available as data info with dedicated Protocols/IP _ADDRESS/IP PORT. The IB-System IP Twin hot-back up, server for failover management, is provided too for top security option. Interfacing our revolutionary server to OnGuard systems grants communication in a universal language with all other different systems on field, immediate and cost-saving.
All events are in fact sent to the end-user and can be handled by simply associating them with the OnGuard functions, such as e-mail, sms, Push, and then turned into actions such as enabling recording of cameras, managing PTZ position, opening or closing gates/door, turning ON/OFF signal, etc.”.
Lenel and OnGuard are registered trademarks of UTC Fire & Security Americas Corporation, Inc. in the United States and/or other countries.
