Forward Intermodal runs a key logistics hub in Baltimoreโan essential gateway for container shipments across the U.S. Keeping the perimeter secure is critical to avoid disruptions from intrusions or false alarms that can delay operations.
To tackle these challenges, Quantum Crossing, Forward’s trusted integrator, installed 700 meters (2,300 feet) of SIOUX PRO2 fence-mounted intrusion detection sensors. Thanks to the systemโs plug & play design, the install was fastโtaking less than an hour with no special tools or downtime required.
To secure vehicle access at the main gate, two MURENA PLUS short-range radar units (covering 24 meters each) were added.
