CIAS has integrated a completely renewed version of the Volumeter tool into its perimeter security app.

Volumeter provides an immediate and intuitive visualization of the relationship between the barrier, range, and microwave lobe dimensions, simplifying every stage of the design process.

Main Features:

• Users can start from the distance to be protected or directly select a barrier model from the available options and their respective ranges.
• The app automatically suggests the most suitable solutions, including radars and devices, and provides a preliminary check on the applicability of the configuration.
• The tool allows real-time visualization of the lobe’s shape and coverage, including the dead zone.

Additionally, users can adjust parameters such as device height, distance between transmitter and receiver, and sensitivity level (low, medium, high). The calculation is dynamically updated, offering a graphical preview of the lobe along with a comparison to reference-sized objects.
