APACHE FIBER is a perimeter protection system based on fiber optic opto technology, designed for intrusion detection caused by climbing, cutting or breaking through fences. It uses multimode optical fiber that is sensitive to mechanical stress, ensuring high reliability in detection.
Due to its flexible architecture, it can cover distances up to 1,000 meters per zone without the need for intermediate feeds; the optical fiber can be installed in either a ring or chain configuration between analyzers, easily adapting to the layout of the site.

Ideal for high-risk hazardous environments
Immunity to electromagnetic interference and atmospheric discharge, combined with the non-flammable nature of the fiber, makes APACHE FIBER ideal even for high-risk sites, such as those with corrosive, flammable or explosive atmospheres such as oil & gas sites, chemical industries, munitions depots, etc.
System Components
The Apache Fiber system consists of sensitive optical fiber installed along the fence line to detect the mechanical stresses typical of an intrusion. Non-sensitive optical fiber is used for connecting between zones or bypassing unprotected areas.
The analyzer processes the detected signals and allows local programming via displays and buttons. The system can be integrated with the centralized IB-System IP platform from CIAS, which allows remote management and real-time display of the perimeter status on a map or graphical user interface.

Intelligent system operation
In the Apache Fiber system, the optical fiber itself acts as a sensor, traversed by a beam of light that changes in the presence of physical stresses. The microprocessor analyzes these changes with algorithms capable of distinguishing between environmental disturbances (wind, rain, hail) and actual intrusion attempts, significatly minimizing false alarm rates.
