MURENA PLUS

Murena Plus is a single-head FSK radar that uses dual-frequency digital Doppler.. It is used to safely protect high-risk sites in extended perimeters to protect so-called shadow zones (dead zones, blind spots) between barrier heads.

Receiver and rtansmitter are in one device. One of its most interesting featuresis to be able to set the area of analysis along with the size of the target to be detected, trulyand uncompromisingly avoiding the usual false alarms generated by the passage of small animals or, at the other extreme, motor vehicles without affecting the detection of the human intruder in any way..

Available Versions and Weather Immunity

The sensor uses pure microwave technology that makes it immune to weather conditions such as fog, sandstorms, temperature changes, and strong sunlight, so it is suitable for even the most extreme climates.

Murena Plus is available in 12m range, 24m range and 12m Curtain version: the latter model uses a special antenna with algorithms designed to protect building facades, windows without interfering with vegetation around the building.

Analysis features with Fuzzy Logic algorithms

Murena Plus has the ability to generate two different doppler signals that make it capable, by analyzing the phase variations of the emitted signal, of calculating the size, direction and position of the moving target.


Through Fuzzy Logic rules, the target is classified in terms of threat level with respect to the predetermined configuration parameters. Finally, thanks to the ability of precisely defining the limits of the analysis area, the sensor allows you to work without coming into contact with areas that you do not want to analyze, be it in the vicinity of the sensor, such as surveillance corridors, or in the distance, near external fences.

Fully Remote Management and IP-DOORWAY

Murena Plus can be calibrated and managed completely remotely with Wave-test 2 or CIAS Tuner software. In addition, with the addition of the IP-DOORWAY accessory alarms, telemetry and PoE power can be managed with a single Ethernet cable, thus streamlining the installer’s work and reducing the overall labor cost to bring the installation to completion.


It complies with the 802.1X cyber security standard, offering reliable protection against cyber attacks.

Murena Plus – ATEX is our dedicated solution for the protection of gateways, critical areas or confined environments to be fully operational and unimpacted in explosive environments. FSK radar technology grants precision and safety in a single compact unit, EExd IIC T6-certified enclosure that complies with the ATEX 94/9/EC directive.

Available in the Murena Plus 12 ATEX (12 m range) and Murena Plus 20 ATEX (20 m range) models, it is designed to ensure effective detection of moving people, reducing false alarms and maintaining high performance even in the most challenging environmental conditions. It is ideal for applications where highly reliable localized protection is required in ATEX-rated high-explosion environments, such as distilleries, ammunition depots, chemical industries, oil & gas sites, etc.
