Pythagoras 3Tech is the intelligent triple-technology barrier designed for perimeter protection of high-security sites up to 160 meters.
It combines three advanced technologies – X-band microwave, bi-optical active infrared, and Doppler – to provide effective and continuous coverage even in challenging environments or sites with disturbances (fences, vegetation, adverse weather conditions).
Advanced signal analysis is processed with Fuzzy Logic algorithms allowing dynamic adaptation to the conditions of the protected corridor, overcoming the limitations of individually based technologies.


Triple technology and high reliability
Pythagoras 3Tech integrates barrier and Doppler microwaves with bi-optical active infrared in a single column.
The combined signal analysis is based on 6 predefined scenarios and processed by fuzzy logic algorithms to perform complementary and dynamic detection according to the situation or environmental changes that may occur.
This allows a reduction in false alarms from disturbing elements such as swaying of unstable fences or side vegetation, while maintaining high performance.
Advanced configuration
Pythagoras 3Tech has a built-in audio-visual system that makes alignment and managing the various set-up parameters extremely easy.
Upon completion of the alignment phase, WAVE-TEST2 can carry out remote maintenance and diagnostics in addition to configuration, via BUS485 or IP.
Among its various functions, this software offers real-time display of received signals and can download hundreds of events to the barrier’s memory.

Safety and design
Pythagoras 3Tech is a barrier that meets EN50131-1 grade 4 requirements and provides high resistance to environmental challenges. Alarm outputs are managed via dedicated relays on RX and TX, with the possibility of IP integration via the optional IP-DOORWAY module.
Available in 2-meter or 3-meter high versions, the column is designed with a front door for easy access during maintenance. To complete the solution, anticlimbing and override kits are included, further increasing the system’s level of protection.
